Coral View Villas is built right along the shore where the sailboats beach after a night out fishing. Here you dine at the edge of the ocean on the freshest lobster, calamari and baked snapper and sleep with the lullaby of the sea washing the beach below your thatched terrace. Explore the undersea life of the fringing coral reef. Sail with the local fishermen in their pretty little outrigger, and share the catch. On the road to Amed the mountains peak and tumble into spectacular rice terraces where the hand of man has consummated the Balinese extraordinary marriage with nature. And always the mighty Gunung Agung, Bali's most holy and tallest mountain, towers and dominates the landscape. The north road to Amed meanders past the timeless coastal activity of salt making. Amed can also be reached via Ujung by the back road which winds high above tiny secluded bays where thousands of rainbow coloured "jukung" outriggers rest. Amed is approximately 3 hours drive from Denpasar Airport and the southern resorts of Kuta and Nusa Dua.

Amed
The Amed area is a series of small bays and quiet fishing villages. The beaches are lined with colorful Jukung fishing boats that sail each morning at sunrise and return later to unload their catch. The safe, calm waters are perfect for swimming and their is an abundance of vibrantly colored fish and beautiful coral. Some of the best snorkeling and diving in Bali can be found in this area. New species of marine life are often discovered here. The beaches are also frequented by playful dolphins and an occasional whale. Amed is approximately 3 hours drive from Denpasar Airport and the southern resorts of Kuta and Nusa Dua.
